Okay, so here are two parts of the set for the church Christmas program. Just picture this cozy little cottage in the background of the program with a little wreath on the door and Christmas lights around the window and the edge of the roof. Oh, and less ratty-looking trees. Sassy was so excited about the cottage that she put them there and I didn't want to get them to church-Christmas-program-looking-quality that night. But they will be! And maybe some little twinkly lights on them as well.
The lamp post was made out of a carpet tube, a Valvoline oil box, wax paper, some twinkly lights, and my dad's brilliant lamp post stand. Oh, and 99 cent bow. Who says you can't make something awesome without a budget?

This is all so cool Lisa but you do realize they were probably thinking. "Maybe a few Christmas songs and a performance by the primary kids"
Oh, they totally shouldn't have asked me then.... :)
That's an awesome set, Lisa! I keep thinking I need you every time an Enrichment rolls around. Good thing the people in my ward don't know about you and all the cool stuff you do, otherwise they'd expect a lot more from me. :)
