Me: But I just got this new cool fingernail polish and you totally NEED your nails painted. Give me your fingers.
Smarty: But I've got this math homework...
Me: Pick one--Cherries Jubilee, Vintage Vamp, or Cotton Candy.
Smarty: Maaaaaath Hooooomewoooooork....
Me: Really, which is more important in life--math or having really cool fingernail polish.
Smarty: Math is way more important. Say you were paying money and they put the comma in the wrong place and you have to pay more than you really would have--
Me: (Sigh) Oh, you've been listening to your teacher again, haven't you?
