#6 The flowers that are EVERYWHERE.It rains a lot in Scotland. I know, big surprise. This makes you really wet at times, but it also makes Scotland really green and beautiful. Most people know this. I knew this and expected it, though I didn't quite expect HOW beautiful (and how rainy) it was going to be.
But I didn't expect the flowers that grew everywhere in the spring and summer. The daffodils and tulips, followed by all sort of other flowers--I loved seeing them. It was great to be driving along and suddenly come upon tons and tons of daffodils or tulips lining the sides of the motorway. Thanks, rain! You made me really wet, but you also provided me with lots of flowers to make me smile.
